A NIH-funded Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available immediately in the Urology Research Laboratory at Brigham and Women’s Hospital & Harvard Medical School, located at 75 Francis Street, Boston, MA 02115.
We seek a highly motivated candidate to study the mechanisms of prostate cancer development and progression. Projects for this position will focus on gene regulation, DNA repair, and targeted therapies in prostate cancer using preclinical models. Selected papers of interest: Gui et al, PNAS 2019, PMID: 31266892; Miao et al, Sci Adv 2022, PMID:35179959.
The potential candidate should possess a Ph.D. degree (or equivalent), and have a solid background in molecular biology, biochemistry, and genomics. Prior experience in next-generation sequencing, cancer genomics, molecular mechanism study, and mouse modeling are highly valued. Salary will be according to NIH guidelines.
