Faculty positions in School of Biomedical Engineering, ShanghaiTech University

ShanghaiTech University invites highly-qualified candidates to fill multiple tenure-track/tenured faculty positions as core founding faculty team in the newly established School of Biomedical Engineering (BME).

We seek candidates with exceptional academic records or demonstrated strong potential in all cutting-edge research areas of Biomedical Engineering. The candidates must be fluent in English. Internationalized and overseas academic training or background is highly desired. ShanghaiTech is founded, aiming to be a world-class research university, for training future generations of scientists, entrepreneurs, and technical leaders.

Boasting a new modern campus in Zhangjiang High-tech Park of cosmopolitan Shanghai, ShanghaiTech shall trail-blaze a new education system in China. Besides establishing and maintaining a world-class research profile, faculty candidates are also expected to contribute substantially to both graduate and undergraduate education.

Candidates in all areas of Biomedical Engineering shall be considered.

• Medical Imaging and Informatics (i.e., MR, CT, PET, Radiotherapy)
• Intelligent Medicine (using Artificial Intelligence, and Big Data)
• Smart Biomedical Instruments (i.e., Wearable Devices and Medical Robotics)
