The Richard Mille / CEQF Prize supports French-language works by young artists and young researchers between the ages of 18 and 35, domiciled in a member country of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF)
The Richard Mille / CEQF Prize “La francophonie en debate” aims to support the production and dissemination of works in French, artistic or academic, young artists or young researchers domiciled in a member country – full law, associates and observers – from the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF). The work awarded the prize must help to think and illustrate the relationships, exchanges and interactions within the French-speaking world on cultural, historical, economic or social level. The work, oriented by a research-creation approach, can be:
- Unprecedented research in the humanities and social sciences (history, sociology, political science, literature, postcolonial studies, etc.),
- An original artistic creation (literary text, song, theater, audiovisual production, graphic arts, etc.).
The Prize is funded by the Swiss watch company Richard Mille and organized by the CEQF . It is awarded every two years by an international jury.
- Amount of the prize: 15,000 Swiss francs, of which 5,000 francs are planned to present the prize in Quebec on June 23, 2021.
- Procedure: launch on July 1, 2020 and application deadline on January 15, 2021 , 24h GMT. First selection in January and designation of the winner in March 2021.
