USA MA Fellowship 2024 offered by the Mercatus Center

The Mercatus Center’s 2024 MA Fellowship Program is now accepting applications. The duration of the Mercatus MA scholarship is two years. The Mercatus Center Master’s Scholarship Program is open to George Mason University students earning a master’s degree in economics. Students should apply for this US scholarship if they are interested in learning advanced applied economics to prepare for a career in public policy. There is a competitive full-time scholarship program in the United States. It is therefore advisable to apply for this fully funded scholarship program if you are interested in a career in public policy.

Qualifications for the USA MA Fellowship 2024 offered by the Mercatus Center:

  • The Master’s Scholarship Program offered by the Mercatus Center is open to students enrolled or intending to enroll in the Master’s Program in Economics at George Mason University.
  • International students from all over the world are welcome to apply.
  • Throughout their studies, Master’s Scholars must maintain a CGPA of 3.5 or higher.
  • Throughout the year, fellows must be able to dedicate approximately 20 hours per week to working with faculty mentors and Mercatus Center staff.
  • The monthly theory-to-practice reading group, career development workshop, and job placement are required of fellows.

The Mercatus Center MA Scholarship Program 2024 offers the following benefits:

  • The USA Scholarship Program offers up to $80,000 in total scholarships over a two-year period.
  • The entire reward will be used to pay the stipend.
  • Full tuition fees will also be covered.
    In addition to the prize money, Mercatus academics and staff will receive practical experience in conducting and disseminating research on relevant policy issues.
  • Fellows will participate in a global learning and networking environment.

  • 1-2 page cover letter that explains your research interests and current projects, your familiarity with Mercatus and Mason researchers and their research, and what you hope to achieve from the program.
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Essay on “Why do some societies prosper, while others remain stagnant and poor?” » (500-1000 words)
  • 10-page writing sample (to demonstrate your research skills)
