17th of May, 2021. From today until June 6, African women university students can submit their applications to access the scholarships of Learn Africa program of the Women for Africa Foundation.
This program, in which 25 universities from all over Spain collaborate, offers in this edition a total of 76 scholarships, mostly master’s degrees, although some university expert degrees and two doctoral degrees are also offered.
For the second consecutive year, and given that the covid 19 pandemic has not yet been overcome, all courses will be held online and the scholarships will therefore only cover tuition fees.
Planeta Formación y Universidades, a partner of the program, also offers 4 scholarships for undergraduate and 6 for master’s degrees at its Rabat campus, but these will be in-person courses.
The Learn Africa program aims to promote the transfer of knowledge, exchange and training of African women university students through scholarships offered by Spanish universities.
Since 2013 and up to now, around 200 African women students from 34 countries have benefited from this program, thanks to which they have studied different subjects and levels in 40 Spanish universities, 1 Portuguese and 2 educational centers in Morocco.
