5. Date of commencement of work: October 15, 2021.
Eligibility criteria
List of required documents for the competition, in particular:
a) personal questionnaire of the person applying for employment: 1.-Kwestionariusz-osobowy-dla-osoby-ubiegającej-się-o-zatrudnienie.doc,
b) curriculum vitae,
c) a photocopy of the diploma confirming obtaining the master’s degree,
d) a photocopy of the diploma confirming obtaining the academic degree of doctor,
e) the self-presentation containing the characteristics of the scientific and didactic experiences to date and other achievements in the field of organization and popularization of science, the self-report should also include information about mobility,
f) list of scientific publications, previous teaching experience and other achievements in the field of organizing scientific life and popularizing science,
g) electronic versions of the two most important publications (or typescripts of unpublished works) which the candidate considers to be representative of his / her scientific achievements,
h) plans for scientific development,
i) two letters of recommendation, with the proviso that these lists are sent electronically to the Chairman of the Committee: artur.blazejewski@uwr.edu.pl without the candidate’s mediation and are open only to members of the Committee, and the candidate waives the right to access these lists by entering the competition.
The cover letter must contain the following clause: “I do consent to processing the personal data provided in my application for the purpose of the organization and disseminating information connected with the search procedure and its results. I understand and accept that my personal data will be administered by the University of Wrocław, plac Uniwersytecki 1, 50-137 Wrocław. I acknowledge that providing my personal data is voluntary but necessary for the purpose of this procedure” (in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act of May 10, 2018, Journal of Laws 2018, item 1000) .
The basic duties of an assistant professor will include conducting scientific research in the field of didactics and public history, conducting internships preparing students for the profession of a history and citizenship education teacher, undertaking organizational duties related to employment at the Historical Institute of the University of Wrocław, applying for research projects, preparing scientific publications appearing in magazines and publications on ministerial list of bullet journals, applying for domestic and foreign research scholarships, establishing and maintaining contacts with research centers in Poland and abroad.
