The Université de Sherbrooke is seeking applications to fill a position of regular professor or regular professor in organizational change. This is a regular full-time position attached to the  Department of Management and Human Resources Management of the School of Management .

About the Faculty

The School of Management is recognized for the quality and relevance of its training programs and research activities. It offers 65 programs at three study cycles and has 10 chairs and research groups. His research activities cover international development, public economics and taxation, entrepreneurship and innovation, brand management and responsible consumption, responsible financial management, sustainable development and corporate social responsibility. , competitive and business intelligence, work organization and occupational health and safety.

Functions

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in organizational change, organizational development and other courses in related fields as required.
  • Carry out organizational change research projects.
  • Supervise graduate students.
  • Actively participate in university life.
  • Contribute to service to the community.

Requirements

  • At the time of hiring, hold a doctorate (Ph.D. or DBA) in organizational change, management, human resources management or in a relevant discipline.
  • Have a recognized expertise in university teaching and aptitudes for the supervision and support of a varied student clientele, in particular at the graduate level.
  • Distinguish itself through its expertise in organizational change, both in terms of the fundamentals of the change and its practical aspects.
  • Have communications and / or publications attesting to the excellence of the file in organizational change research.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a team and maintain collaborations with colleagues.
  • Possess teaching and communication skills in French, spoken and written.

Assets

  • Fluency in spoken and written English would be an asset.
  • Being a member of the Order of CHRP would be an asset.
