A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Alberto Martin. The successful applicant will join a research team studying B cell biology and the DNA repair pathways that are associated with antibody diversification processes. The candidate is expected to work in these or related fields of research.
The applicant will be employing technical skills in molecular biology and tissue culture and will use a variety of in vivo models including unique knock-out mouse models. The successful candidate will be joining a young, dynamic environment within the Medical Sciences Building at the University of Toronto comprised of investigators studying cancer, cell biology, and mucosal immunology at both a molecular and in vivo levels. University of Toronto is located in downtown Toronto, a multicultural world class city.
The postdoctoral applicant must have recently completed a PhD or equivalent in the Biological Sciences and have developed technical skills and knowledge that are suitable for the project.
