The laboratory of Dr. Xiaoyong Yang at Yale University School of Medicine is recruiting a highly motivated and creative postdoctoral fellow. The Yang laboratory studies the mechanisms that regulate organ physiology and human diseases including diabetes, obesity, cancer, and aging. A combination of experimental approaches, including biochemistry, cell biology, mouse genetics, optogenetics, physiology and multi-omics, are employed. Candidates should have a recent doctoral degree with a strong background in rodent models and metabolism. Prior experience in biochemistry and cell biology is desirable. Candidates should be self-motivated and have a proven track record of productivity. Excellent written and oral communication skills are expected.
