Applicants with expertise in the storage and recovery of aquifers, characterization of the subsurface and assessment of resources, flow and transport of groundwater, or engineering of groundwater and underground systems are particularly encouraged to apply. Interdisciplinary training in geophysics, hydrogeology, hydrogeochemistry or geostatistics will be considered favorably. Previous experience in groundwater management in regions where water is scarce is an advantage, as are additional skills in numerical modeling, measurement at laboratory scale or in the field and in hydraulics and water engineering underground.
