The Department of Infectious Diseases and Public Health was created in July 2017. Its mission is to achieve and maintain excellence in teaching and research in veterinary studies by advancing the understanding of the interconnectivity of animal and human health. The Department is well positioned to provide a strong link between preclinical veterinary science and applied (clinical) veterinary medicine. In another dimension, he focuses on One Health, a field covering the health of animals, humans and the environment. The Department plays a key role in teaching students of the baccalaureate in veterinary medicine and in postdoctoral research training.

The salary and the conditions of
remuneration will be determined by the competitiveness of the market and individual performance. Excellent benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental plans, and relocation assistance (if applicable). The first appointment will be on a fixed-term contract.
