The Black Family Stem Cell Institute (BFSCI) (https://icahn.mssm.edu/research/black-family-stem-cell) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor levels.

The BFSCI serves as a hub for basic and translational research in stem cell biology and regenerative medicine across the medical school campus and is located in state-of-the-art research space.

We seek highly interactive and collaborative investigators focusing on basic or translational mammalian stem cell and developmental biology, tissue homeostasis and/or regenerative medicine. We will consider faculty candidates working in any of these broad areas and are particularly interested in applications from researchers focusing on hepatopoeitic, epithelial or neural stem cells.

Candidates should hold a Ph.D., M.D., V.M.D., M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree and are expected to participate in research and graduate student mentoring and teaching. The Icahn School of Medicine provides an exceptional intellectual environment with outstanding facilities; generous start-up packages are available.
