In homage to its founding president, the International Association for the History of Crime and Criminal Justice (IAHCCJ), with the support of the FMSH, instituted a prize intended to reward an original article, relating to the field, widely heard, of history of crime and criminal justice.
Terms of allocation
The prize recognizes an article written by a researcher at the beginning of his career (doctoral student or doctor for three years at most on the date of submission of the article to the journal). Within the field indicated, all subjects are admitted.
The article must be written in French or English and must never have been published.
The distinguished article will be published in the journal Crime, Histoire & Sociétés / Crime, History & Societies and the laureate will receive research assistance of 1000 euros.
Articles submitted must:
– present original research based on the use of empirical materials by associating it with a reflection of a more general, methodological and / or theoretical scope;
– open up new avenues of research or renew approaches in existing fields.
Candidacy
Manuscripts, accompanied by a CV, must be sent before October 31, 2021 to the editor-in-chief of Crime, Histoire & Sociétés / Crime, History & Societies , preferably by email (see address below).
