The University of New Brunswick, Department of Mechanical Engineering, invites applicants for a tenure stream appointment at the Assistant Professor level with specialization in Experimental Fluid Mechanics. Duties in the Department will include teaching undergraduate courses in the core Mechanical Engineering curriculum, offering courses in the area of the appointee’s research specialty at the senior undergraduate and/or graduate level, and conducting research. The Department currently has approximately 350 undergraduate students and 60 full-time graduate students. In addition to a standard Mechanical Engineering program, options in Mechatronics and Biomedical Engineering are also offered. Further information about the Department can be found at www.me.unb.ca.
The appointee must have completed an earned doctorate in Mechanical Engineering or similar area. The appointee shall be eligible and willing to become a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of New Brunswick.
