ABOUT 2021 RESEARCH GRANTS

The Merck Research Grants Program is open to scientists at all stages of their careers, affiliated with any research institution, university or company. Applicants submit their applications for priority topics containing only non-confidential information. You can apply for more than one grant or submit your application for more than one central topic. If your application is successful, you are invited to submit a full proposal in confidence and participate in an in-depth workshop with the other finalists. All applicants will be informed of the selection committee’s decision in early October.

The submission deadline is August 31, 2021.

DEEP DIVING WORKSHOPS

The in-depth workshops will take place in November and December 2021. Finalists will work with Merck managers and scientists to jointly optimize submitted project proposals. The culmination of the in-depth workshops will be the selection of the scholarship winners.
