Pre-France program for Malaysian students in political science and management

Training program in political science and management supported by the JPA (Ministry of the Civil Service).

After obtaining their SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia, equivalent of the British O-Level), students undergo a 13-month pre-university training in Malaysia (French courses and specialty courses) followed by 2 months in a host family. French to improve their language level. Students then enter a French establishment according to their choice of specialization and following a list established in advance.

The scholarship covers student expenses (registration fees and living expenses) during the Pre-France program in Malaysia and then during their studies in France.

Scholarships awarded on academic criteria: very good SPM results are required.

Knowledge of French is not necessary, as students have ad hoc language training during their initial training in Malaysia.

Selection at SPM level. A very good academic level is required: SPM with an A level in all subjects.

Malaysia aligns with the English system: students finish high school with the SPM or O-level. To be able to enter the French university, Malaysian students must follow a pre-university program, in order to obtain the same level of studies as the French baccalaureate.

 LANGUAGE MASTERY

Fluency in the French language is not required, students learn French during the first 13 months of the Pre-France program in Malaysia.

 ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS

Students who fail will have to repay the scholarship.

Students supported by the JPA will be required to accept job offers upon graduation. If the JPA does not offer them a job within 6 months, the students are free to work in the company of their choice.
