MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships – Call for Expressions of Interest: Organizational Communication Research

We are seeking candidates interested in developing an application for and pursuing a postdoctoral fellowship at Aalborg University and we invite expressions of interest for a joint application under the EU Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions – Call: MSCA-PF-2024. The postdoctoral position is for 2 years starting in spring 2025.

We invite candidates to submit a one-page expression of interest, a full CV listing publications and grants, and a one-page project pitch.

Eligibility

Candidates should have completed a PhD within a relevant research field within the last 8 years (extensions apply), have a strong academic background with an excellent track record in research and publications. The researcher must not have resided or carried out his/her main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the host organisation’s country for more than twelve months in the three years immediately prior to the call deadline (September 11th, 2024).

Candidates should be social scientists with expertise in organizational communication research. Preferred focus areas are organizational communication in relation to corporate communication, political communication and/or science communication.

The fellow would be part of the research group CLD – Communication, Language and Discourse.

Ideally, the fellow would contribute to one of the following research initiatives we are currently developing:

– The first initiative aims to analyse the organization of inter- and transdisciplinary communication practices within research centres and academic networks.

– The second initiative aims to explore challenges of Corporate Social Responsibility communication that are resulting from new EU directives on ESG reporting.

Selection process

The expression of interest will be shortlisted, and potential candidates will be invited to attend an interview online from March 18th to March 27th, whereafter a limited number of candidates that can apply with us are selected.

Selected fellows will receive support on their application up to the deadline (September 11th, 2024) from Aalborg University’s Fundraising & Project Management office. Part of this support process is AAU’s MSCA Talent Course, that takes place online in May-June 2024. Only the selected fellows will be asked to register to AAU’s MSCA Talent Course.
