How to apply
You must apply through UAC Equity Scholarship and application form to be considered for this Scholarship.
All supporting documents need to be submitted to UAC by 31 January 2024 in order to be considered for scholarship offers in March 2024.
The successful candidates will be advised by email by end March or early April 2024.
Benefits
This scholarship is valued at $8500 per annum and is tenable for 4 years.
Who’s eligible
You must:
- be Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or New Zealand Citizen
- be either commencing or being currently enrolled full-time in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine within the Sydney School of Veterinary Science
- demonstrate financial hardship via the UAC Equity Scholarship.

This Scholarship was established in 2023 using bequest funds donated by Eric Horatio Maclean. The scholarship is intended to support students enrolled in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program in the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney.
