Job description

Our research team is looking for a PhD candidate performing experimental research on two-phase flow. The application is on a multi-port evaporator tube of a heat pump. The aim is to describe with high accuracy the heat transfer, flow distribution and pressure drop under relevant conditions and this for the natural refrigerants R290 and CO2. These natural refrigerants are the future in heat pump development due to their low environmental impact. This doctorate thus contributes by gaining crucial insights needed for the design of next generation heat pump technology.
