Karolinska Institute World Master Scholarships, Sweden

Karolinska Institutet offers a handful of tuition scholarships to excellent students who have been admitted to one of our  global master programs  from each fall semester. The amount of the scholarships varies from year to year, but there are a maximum of 10 scholarships per year, spread across all master’s programs worldwide. The competition is fierce with around 1,500 international students applying for the scholarship each year.

How to apply?

All applicants for the World Master programs at Karolinska Institutet who are required to pay the tuition fees and have paid the application fees for university admissions will receive information and an invitation to apply for the KI World Master Program scholarship after the last day to pay the application fee and submit supporting documents.

The invitations to apply for the scholarship are sent by email on February 8 to the email address you used to create your account on  universityadmissions.se  .

Selection process

The selection process is based on an overall assessment of  the CV and qualifications of the candidate  submitted via UniversityAdmissions and assessed as part of the application for the KI Global Master program. Scholarship recipients will be notified by email.

What does the KI Global Master grant cover?

The KI Global Master scholarship only covers tuition fees (or part of the tuition fees for programs only partially given by Karolinska Institutet). The  fee  traveling,  living  and other expenses must be covered by other funding. In addition, please note that the KI Global Master scholarship only covers tuition fees for students enrolled in a global master program here at the Karolinska Institutet and cannot be used for other studies.

Applications open for our global master programs:  16 October 2019  Date
for applications:  January 15, 2020
deadline to pay the application fee and submit supporting documents:  February 3
Invitations to apply for the scholarship emailed:   February 7
Notification for selection for world Masters programs:   April 3
Selection notification for the scholarship:  April 24
