Postdoctoral fellowships in Microbial Pathogenesis at Yale University

Postdoctoral positions are available to study the interaction between the enteric bacterial pathogens Salmonella and Campylobacter with their hosts. We use multidisciplinary approaches including structural and cell biology, imaging at all resolution scales, and animal models of infection to define the functional interface between these pathogens and their hosts and the role of the intestinal microbiota in infection outcomes. Of special interest are the study of type III protein secretion machines, bacterial effector proteins, and the cell biology and immunobiology of infection. Send a full CV and the name and address of three references by email to Prof. Jorge Galan (Jorge.galan@yale.edu).

Yale University is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer and welcomes applications from women, persons with disabilities, protected veterans, and members of minority groups.
