The position of Director General of the National School of Public Administration will be vacant for January 2022. In accordance with the Law on the University of Quebec , the assembly of governors of the University of Quebec must make a recommendation to the government for the appointment of the school head. In this regard, the selection committee is issuing a call for candidates. 

The director general is responsible for the strategic management of the institution and the achievement of the three main aspects of its mission. She or he guides the development of the School, oversees the design and implementation of all the programs and services offered by the School to its national and international clients and ensures their relevance. She or he is also responsible for anchoring the School in its environment and its institutional image. The Director General represents the School on the national and international scenes, is responsible for the quality of the administrative management of the School and reports on its management and the achievement of objectives to the Board of Directors. and relevant government bodies. She or he sits on the board of directors and the human resources committee, and chairs the School’s studies committee. She or he is a member of the Board of Governors and of the Planning Commission of the University of Quebec.

The School’s administrative headquarters are located in Quebec.
