POSITION SUMMARY
Ambrose University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position in Psychology, starting January 2022. Preferences will be given to candidates with expertise in Research and Quantitative Methods.  Additional professional experience in Clinical and/or Developmental domains an asset. 

Full Job Description

Duties will include:

  • Preparation and teaching of undergraduate-level lectures in Research Methods, Univariate Analysis, Multivariate Analysis, Test and Measurement, Developmental Psychopathology, Clinical Assessment courses.
  • Supervision of Undergraduate Research projects and internships.
  • Administrative duties including grading, student advising, and committee work.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in a relevant field by the time of appointment, or shortly thereafter. The successful candidate will be committed to high quality teaching and a research agenda with associated publications. We seek candidates whose teaching interests complement and strengthen the Psychology program and the interdisciplinary Social Sciences department at Ambrose University. Preference will be given to candidates with undergraduate teaching experience.

  • Normal teaching load is six courses per year.
  • Research is supported through annual professional development funds and other programs.
