This call for proposals is an important part of the work of the Swedish Energy Agency in fulfilling the task of acquiring emission reduction units, which could help Sweden achieve its own goals, as well as increase the ambition of global mitigation and the overall level of development with low emissions in cooperating countries.

Program period
The medjouel.com team informs you that the decision concerning the selected proposals will be taken in April 2020. The next phase will start no earlier than May 2020. Please note that the calendar could be modified.
Eligibility conditions (criteria)
- The call is mainly focused on energy related activities but also on mitigation activities in other sectors such as methane leaks from industrial processes, etc.
- The activities should lead to a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to other objectives within the framework of the 2030 Agenda. Please see the terms of reference.
- Any organization or entity that can contribute to the target of the call can apply. For example, companies working with project development, energy companies, private and public entities.
Opportunity cost
(Fully funded)
- The Swedish Energy Agency will finance the development of selected 1-5 activities to prepare them for implementation.

The appeal follows a two-step process.
- Proposal must be submitted before February 14, 2020
- 1-5 Proposals will be selected and will be offered development funding to make them feasible
