In research work, the applicant must display interest and skills in at least one of the school’s key fields of technology (sustainability science, energy technology, or electrical or mechanical engineering) and the ability to apply mathematical methods wide-rangingly in the school’s research projects in collaboration with other researchers.

Successful performance requires good English skills and the ability to teach in English. The position also calls for good Finnish skills, but if two people are appointed, the other person does not need good Finnish skills.
