JAVVA aims to promote an ideal of tolerance, solidarity and peace among young people around the world and to encourage their active participation and mobility. The main activities of this organization include international camps, medium and long-term volunteering, local awareness events and training. The main mission of the volunteer will be to support the team in all its activities related to the problem of migration. The volunteer will have the following tasks: – Project development with volunteers placed in centers for asylum seekers (e.g. awareness events, promotion of volunteer activities with residents,

ACCOMMODATION, CATERING AND TRANSPORT

The volunteer will be housed in a shared apartment in Brussels. She will receive a transport card for local public transport and will receive a monthly allowance to buy food and also pocket money

TRAINING DURING THE PROJECT

The medjouel.com team informs you that the volunteer will participate in training on arrival with the other ESC volunteers hosted by local JAVVA partners, then will follow task-specific training with several team members. . He / she will also have the opportunity to participate in training related to migration issues. Like the other ESC volunteers, she will participate in arrival and mid-term seminars organized by the National Agency.

VOLUNTEER PROFILE

We are looking for an open-minded volunteer, interested in migration issues and youth work and eager to learn more. We are not looking for any specific skills, motivation being the most important criterion for selection. If you are interested in this project, please send a CV and a motivation letter RELATING TO THE PROJECT to: esc@javva.org.  Please note that you need a sending organization in your home country.
