announces a competition for the position

university professor

at the Faculty of Computer Science and Telecommunications

in the discipline: COMPUTER SCINCE AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS

Only those who meet the conditions set out in the Act of 20 July 2018, the Law on Higher Education and Science of 20 July 2018, can join the competition, art. 116 and 119, moreover, they meet the requirements of the Statute of the Cracow University of Technology § 60 and have:

– title of professor in the field of engineering and technical sciences in the discipline of computer science and telecommunications or habilitation in the field of technical and engineering sciences in the discipline of computer science and telecommunications;

– scientific achievements documented in publications in peer-reviewed journals in the category of computer science;

– experience in acquiring or implementing research projects as well as documented organizational and / or staff-related achievements.

Candidates will indicate the Cracow University of Technology as basic work places.

Candidates should submit to the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Computer Scince and Telecommunications, Warszawska Street 24, 31-155 Cracow, tel. 12 628-31-58 or on email address: kpol@pk.edu.pl by February 28, 2020, the following documents:

  1. Application;
  2. curriculum vitae;
  3. a copy of the document confirming the degree or academic title;
  4. autoreferat;
  5. list of scientific achievements.
  6. a document confirming knowledge of English and in the case of foreigners a document confirming knowledge of Polish.

The competition at the Faculty will be closed until March 18, 2020.

The final decision of JM Rector will be taken by March 31, 2020.

The Faculty of Computer Science and Telecommunications reserves the right to contact only selected candidates and the right to notify about the decision on filling the position of only the selected candidate.
