We are looking for a candidate who can be in charge of Exercises in Information Processing (shared), Food Industry Systems Laboratory I, II (shared), etc. as well as supervision of graduation research.

Contract period description:Term of employment: 5 (five) years
A tenure review will be conducted by seven months prior to the expiration of the 5 year tenure-track term. Tenure (assistant professor, permanent) will be granted if the applicant is deemed to achieve the target values required for granting tenure.
An interim evaluation will be conducted by three years from the start of employment. In case that particularly outstanding achievement is observed in the interim evaluation, the eligibility for granting tenure may be discussed at that time.

Salary and Benefits: Based on the salary regulations of Iwate University and subject to annual salary system (Retirement allowance is paid at the time of retirement.)
Working Hours: Discretionary working system for professional work, 7 hours and 45 minutes of de facto working per day
Insurance: Employment Insurance, Social Insurance, Workers’ Accident Compensation Insurance, Mutual Aid Association of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology
Days off: Saturday, Sunday, public holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, etc.
