From 2008, academic training programsSponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China are designed to encourage senior business executives and management personnel from recipient countries, offering one- and two-year master’s programs as well as three doctoral programs. a year with the aim of providing interdisciplinary education to high-level personnel working in the fields of government, commerce, foreign affairs, agriculture, technology, education, culture and health, strengthen intellectual capacities and facilitate economic and social development in the beneficiary countries. These programs provide assistance to government officials, researchers and senior managers for their master’s and doctoral studies in China.
1. Financial assistance
The Chinese Ministry of Commerce will grant the Chinese government scholarship to students admitted to developing countries. The scholarship will cover tuition waiver, campus accommodation, a monthly stipend of 3000 RMB, medical insurance and one-way international tickets. There is also a settlement allowance of 3000RMB / person.
If a student expects to be visited by his spouse, children, relatives or friends during his stay in China, the visitor will have to bear all the expenses personally.
2. Application
(1) Requirements
All applicants must meet the following admission requirements:
1) Applicants must be non-Chinese nationals of developing countries, with a valid passport or other identification certificate sufficient to verify their nationality;
2) Applicants must have a recognized baccalaureate; Under 45 years of age;
3) Applicants must be fluent in English. Non-native English speakers or applicants whose undergraduate studies were not conducted in English are required to submit a TOEFL or IELTS test mark as proof of proficiency in English. Applicants with the following scores would be considered:
TOEFL 100 or higher in iBT (Internet-based TOEFL); TOEFL 600 or higher in PBT (paper TOEFL) or IELTS 7.0 or higher in overall band score.
4) All applicants must be in good physical condition and not have any infectious diseases which may have a serious impact on public health or fall into one of the health situations prohibited by Chinese laws and regulations of inspection and entry-exit quarantine, including severe hypertension, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer, other chronic diseases and mental disorders. Applicants who are in the period of major surgical recovery or the onset of acute illness, during pregnancy, or who have a severe disability will not be considered. A medical report issued by a local public hospital is required.
5) Only candidates recommended by the office of the economic and commercial advisor of the Chinese Embassy in the candidate’s country of origin will be considered.

1) Application to Zhejiang Normal University

Please visit the Chinese Scholarship Council’s online application system at www.campuschina.org and register to open an account. Select the “Chinese Government Scholarship” program, fill in all the required information and an application form will be created. Print the form, make sure the name and date are handwritten on the form, and attach a passport-size photo. To complete the form successfully, please note the following information:

(4) Submission
A. Submit all of the application documents listed above both on paper and paper to the office of the economic and trade adviser at the Chinese Embassy in your home country. The hard copy must include both the original and the photocopy, as shown in the table.
B. Submit a written request to the Office of the Economic and Commercial Adviser at the Chinese Embassy for an official letter of recommendation and state clearly: if the candidate is willing to be considered for a similar program at other universities if there is no There are no vacancies in the programs at ZJNU.
