Most scholarships are applied towards tuition fees and some can be used to cover accommodation and living costs.
Below are some of our scholarships for international students .
English Prize for Further Studies
If you successfully complete a minimum of 12 weeks of EAP, you will receive a fee rebate, valued at NZ $ 5,460, when you enroll in either the Certificate in University Studies , Diploma in University Studies, or Diploma in first cycle.
International Taught Merit Scholarships
If you qualify for this, you will receive a scholarship worth between NZ $ 7,000-10,000 to cover the overall cost of your studies in any 180-credit taught master’s program . You must have at least a GPA with an average B + in the final year of your bachelor’s degree to meet the requirements.
NZD 10,000 – applies to the following programs:
- Master of Business – Global Management and Marketing
- Master of Business – Finance
- Master of Professional Accounting (CPA)
- Master in Sports and Leisure Management
- Master of Tourism Management
- Master of International Rural Development
NZ $ 7,000 – applies to the following programs:

- Master of Applied Computing (start of November only)
- Master of Pest Control
- Master of Precision Agriculture
- Master of Science in Food Innovation
- Master in environmental management and policy
- Master of Management in Agribusiness
- Master of Management in the Agricultural System
- Master of Wine and Viticulture (February only)
- Master of Disaster Risk and Resilience
Lincoln University International Course Merit Scholarship
Scholarships valued at NZ $ 2,500 are available for new students seeking admission to the University Certificate or University Diploma . To be eligible for a scholarship, students must meet both academic and English requirements. Click here to apply.
