Kanthari Leadership Training for Social Change in India

kanthari welcomes  participants over 22  (we have no upper age limit) who have overcome significant life challenges ranging from visual impairment, disability, poverty, war, discrimination and exploitation. They can also witness social situations that they want to change so that others do not suffer. They should have the passion to make the world a better place and the strength to be forces of good rather than being victims of circumstances.

Applicants must speak and understand basic English and have basic computer skills. 
The twelve month kanthari program will help participants develop all the skills necessary to succeed as leaders of social change so that they can start and manage their own NGOs, social enterprises or social enterprises.

Selected participants will qualify for a scholarship provided by our donors to cover training and accommodation costs.
All travel and incidental costs will be borne by the participants.
Graduates of the program will have access to a network of change leaders from more than 45 countries around the world.

To ensure high quality training, The medjouel.com team informs you that kanthari welcomes a maximum of 25 participants per academic year who are chosen through a rigorous five-step selection process.

Step 1: Apply via the online  kanthari application  form will have a clear understanding of you, your project and your vision for social change.
Step 2: Initial interview   During which our reception team will question you on Skype to give you an idea of ​​your passion and your clarity regarding the project you have chosen. We will also answer any questions you may have about the program and the application process.
Step 3: Writing an essay   in which you write about your story, your challenges, how you dealt with them and your vision for social change.
Step 4: Follow-up interview  This Skype interview will be conducted by an independent expert to determine your aptitude for this very intense course by building a personality profile.
Step 5: Final interview  This   Skype interview  will be carried out with the management of kanthari before a final selection decision is made. There will be additional missions to be carried out before arrival in India.
