[ITALY] Masters Degree Programme in Human Rights and Multi-level Governance

The MA Degree Programme Human Rights and Multi-level Governance (HRG) at the University of Padova aims at developing the competences to work in complex local and international contexts, in accordance with the universal human rights paradigm and based on social commitment.

Prospective students must possess a three-year BA degree (180 ECTS credits) in a field connected with the Master’s curriculum, with good grades.

Partial and full scholarships are available, as specified in the annual call for applications.

The University of Padova, established in 1222, is one of the largest in Italy, with about 60,000 students. It has been delivering post-graduate interdisciplinary programmes in peace and human rights since 1988. The HRG programme is supervised by the Department of Political Science, Law and International Studies and is part of the School of Economics and Political Science. HRG is supported by the Human Rights Centre “Antonio Papisca” of the University of Padova. The Centre hosts the UNESCO Chair “Human Rights, Democracy and Peace”, the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence “Intercultural Dialogue, Human Rights and Multi-level Governance” and the Peace Human Rights Archive of the Region of Veneto.
