Sapient Social & Environmental Enterprises was established in 2016 and consists of a team of bright, young inspired individuals, from across the globe who dedicate themselves to stop food waste, renew democracy, provide local green energy solutions, and help other social businesses in their path to positive impact.
About the Project: Oview
Oview: Oview is a consultancy project meant to support organizations on different Social Media platforms. The main focus is to support small businesses that are accumulating know-how and expertise in the retention and transfer of this knowledge.
About the Position: Knowledge Coordinator
Knowledge coordination is about gaining insight on how Sapient and Food Circle function and finding ways to improve different aspects of our company: ensuring simplicity and accessibility in our online structures, document organization, communication, and more. Knowledge Coordinators not only make sure that processes in our company are in order, but they implement new processes and organizational ideas that would improve the functioning of the company.
We are looking for an innovative Knowledge Coordinator intern to join our team and help us find a way to gain the most from our experiences both individually, and as an organisation.
Your tasks will include:

Organising, collecting and updating knowledge and information in a clear, accessible way and putting it together to be available for everyone in the company.

Understanding and communicating Sapient’s missions and values in a clear and accessible way for everyone.

Establishing an information architecture for multiple user groups, in a knowledge sharing environment.

Locating and archiving institutional knowledge.

Internship Details

It is important to state that this is an unpaid internship.

Currently we are looking for a new intern to join us from the month of August/September
-
Even though you can choose the duration that suits you best, our internships last a minimum of three months.

You can also choose to be full-time or part-time, as well as set up your working hours, as long as you strictly follow the program you set for yourself.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, it is possible to work remotely for certain positions. It’s also possible to work from our office Ferdinand Huyckstraat 62, 1061 HW Amsterdam.
About the team
The Sapient team consists of people who are team oriented, goal driven, proactive, independent and open-minded. We work both in teams and individually, and therefore, are looking for like minded people to join our team.
To keep the team spirit during the COVID-19 times, we have team meetings at least once a week, and once a month, we organize Sapient Days with fun activities both online and offline in order to welcome new interns (Padawans) and to strengthen our sense of belonging.
