The successful candidate will be a clinician-investigator or clinician-scientist at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Professor rank with proven research track record/research potential in the field. Salary and academic rank will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.

The candidate will have demonstrated an ability to successfully interact and collaborate with other clinical and/or basic scientists within their University, nationally and/or internationally.

If interested also in the Section Head position, leadership, and administrative skills to coordinate and enhance our academic and clinical program in Hepatology are additional requirements.

Candidates must demonstrate broad experience in clinical management of liver diseases (including pre- and post-transplant) and must be eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.  The successful candidate must have an MD degree or both MD and PhD degrees.
