Stage Google Summer of Code 2020 

Google Summer of Code is a global program to engage more student developers in the development of open source software. Students work with an open source organization on a 3 month programming project during their break from school.

Spend your summer vacation writing code and learning open source development while earning an allowance! Accepted students work with a mentor and are part of the open source community. Many become open source developers for life. Google Summer of Code is open to university students 18 and older in most countries.

Program period

3 months (from May 18, 2020 to August 10, 2020).

Eligibility conditions (criteria)

  • You must be at least 18 years old at the time of registration.
  • You must be enrolled or accepted in an accredited institution, including (but not necessarily limited to) colleges, universities, master’s programs, doctoral programs and undergraduate programs on the date of acceptance of students from GSoC (April 27, 2020).
  • You must be eligible to work in their country of residence for the duration of the program.
  • You must reside in a country currently under embargo from the United States.
