Job Summary & Key Responsibilities The McCain Foundation’s commitment to supporting sustainable agriculture at Dalhousie University will allow the Faculty of Agriculture to attract postdoctoral researchers from around the world to Atlantic Canada by offering competitive postdoctoral fellowships. These fellowships will provide stipends for talented scholars to advance their careers, and research and innovations in sustainable agriculture at the Faculty of Agriculture, Dalhousie University.
Qualifications/Requirements of Position The McCain Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowships in Sustainable Agriculture (“McCain Fellowship”) program intends to attract recently graduated PhD scholars of superior research ability to the Faculty of Agriculture. Applicants are not required to have completed their doctorate at the time of application, but they must do so prior to taking up the fellowship. There are no restrictions regarding nationality of applicants, but successful candidates must meet all Canadian Immigration requirements. These Fellowships are intended principally to attract new scholars to Dalhousie, meaning scholars not already at Dalhousie are strongly encouraged to apply.
You are not eligible to apply if you fulfilled your PhD requirements prior to 1 January 2021.
Salary Range/Pay Rate Fellowships are valued at $60,000 per year which includes a stipend and full benefits
