Position Highlights | We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate I to work on radar instrument development projects and conduct original research on the use of future radar systems to obtain quantitative information about the surfaces of Venus, Mars and the Moon. The Postdoctoral Research Associate I will work as part of the Space Exploration SAR instrument development team, and the EnVision VenSAR Science Team, to develop strategies for the use of these systems. This work will include analysis of possible target regions on relevant planets, modeling of radar performance, participation in remote and in-person team meetings, presenting results at conferences, and preparation of original scientific research manuscripts.The position is for one-year, renewable for additional time contingent on successful completion of responsibilities and availability of funding.
