Funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, a Scholar Awards Program in Women’s Health has been established to ensure that Ontario attracts and retains pre-eminent women’s health scholars. The community of women’s health scholars fostered by this Awards program will excel, according to internationally accepted standards of scientific excellence, in the creation of new knowledge about women’s health and its translation into improved health for women, more effective health services and products for women, and a strengthened heath care system.

Annual Women’s Health Scholars Awards, 2021-22

For 2021-22 up to three awards will be made at each of the Master’s and Doctoral levels, and two awards at the Postdoctoral level:

• Master’s Awards – $25,000 plus $1,000 research allowance
• Doctoral Awards – $35,000 plus $2,000 research allowance
• Postdoctoral Awards – $50,000 plus $5,000 research allowance

Financé par le ministère de la Santé et des Soins de longue durée de l’Ontario, le programme de bourses de recherche en santé des femmes a été mis sur pied pour permettre à l’Ontario d’attirer et de retenir d’éminents chercheurs dans le domaine de la santé des femmes. Les chercheurs qui reçoivent le soutien de ce programme excellent, conformément aux normes d’excellence scientifique acceptées à l’échelle internationale, dans la création de nouvelles connaissances sur la santé des femmes et savent appliquer ces connaissances pour améliorer la santé des femmes, fournir aux femmes des services et des produits plus efficaces et renforcer le système de santé. Ces chercheurs doivent.

En 2021-22, trois bourses de recherche sera attribuée au niveau de la maîtrise et du doctorat, et deux bourses de recherche sera attribuée au niveau des études postdoctorales:

• Bourse d’études et de recherche à la maîtrise – 25 000 $ plus une allocation de recherche de 1 000 $
• Bourse d’études et de recherche au doctorat – 35 000 $ plus une allocation de recherche de 2 000 $
• Bourse d’études et de recherche au niveau postdoctoral – 50 000 $ plus une allocation de recherche de 5 000 $
