POSTDOC POSITION for a highly motivated graduate student to join a productive and collaborative research group working on the genetics of psychiatric illness – especially PTSD and substance use disorders. The ideal candidate should hold an MD or PhD, and have a strong background in human genetics, including knowledge of genomewide methods, including GWAS and post-GWAS analysis; and comfort with bioinformatics. The candidate should also be able to work cooperatively with peers at Yale and with many other collaborators nationally and internationally; and bring research to publication. Faculty in our closely-collaborative division at Yale School of Medicine includes Drs Renato Polimanti, Janitza Montalvo-Ortiz, and Daniel Levey.  Start date is flexible. Applicants should preferably have US citizenship or permanent residency.
