Job description – tasks at the job:
- measurements of atmospheric aerosol profiles using remote and in-situ techniques,
- organization and participation in measurement campaigns
- processing and interpretation of measurement data
- reconstruction of aerosol parameters based on multi – instrument measurements
- writing scientific publications
Requirements for candidates (regarding completed university studies, possession of a degree or academic title):
- PhD degree in physics, Earth sciences or related principles
Requirements:
- Experience in atmospheric aerosols measurements using remote and /or in-situ techniques,
- Preferably participation in field campaigns,
- Basic knowledge of statistical analysis and /or numerical techniques (e.g.MATLAB, R, Phython)
- Experience in working witch unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is welcome,
- Documented scientific achievements in the form of publication in JCR journalist,
- Fluent knowledge of English enabling communication, presenting results at international conferences, reading and writing scientific papers,
- Strong motivation, critical thinking ability, and enthusiasm for scientific work
1. Planned employment date: November/ December 2023
Working conditions:
• place of work: Warsaw
• gross remuneration: in the amount of approximately PLN 6,000.00 gross,
• full-time employment
• social package and benefits in accordance with the regulations of the Institute of Geophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences;
