After more than 100 years of serving communities across America, we understand our role in helping others see what’s possible in their communities and in their own lives. That’s why we focus our philanthropic investments in partnerships and programs that address pressing needs and create lasting impact.
At the Lowe’s Foundation, we are currently focused on closing the skilled trades labor gap across the United States. Our mission is to develop a community of skilled tradespeople who can build and revitalize our homes, neighborhoods and infrastructure for the future.
The Lowe’s Foundation Gable Grants Program
The Lowe’s Foundation Gable Grants program is a 5-year, $50 million commitment to train 50,000 job-ready skilled tradespeople to build a stronger infrastructure that supports our communities for the long term. From 2023-2028, community and technical colleges and community-based nonprofit organizations across the country can apply for grants to recruit, train and employ the future skilled trades workforce with an emphasis on under-represented communities.
We’ll bring our network, expertise and resources to address this critical need and ensure that the next generation of builders has the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the demands of our modern world.
