Applications are invited for full-time non-tenure-track faculty positions (rank open) in the Department of Finance and Business Economics at the USC Marshall School of Business. The Appointment will begin in the Fall semester of 2024.

Applicants are sought in the area of Corporate Finance andAsset Pricing.

The faculty position is for a full-time academic appointment that is renewable. The position requires teaching the equivalent of six one-semester courses per academic year.  The successful candidate will teach classes in the undergraduate and graduate programs.  The candidate is also expected to engage in student advising and faculty service activities, including workshops, recruiting events, and other activities supportive of the Finance and Business Economics Department.

Preferred qualifications for this full-time position include a doctoral degree or foreign equivalent in an appropriate area of study. Candidates nearing completion of their degree may also be considered. Preference may be given to individuals with relevant experience in teaching at the college/university level.

Salary is dependent on qualifications, and employee benefits for full-time faculty are excellent.  The annual base salary range for this position is $118,537-$172,253. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
