Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology

Position Summary:
Susquehanna University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor, with expertise in the area of animal physiology to start in August 2024. The Ph.D. is required by August 2024, and post-doctoral research experience is preferred. Demonstrated success or evidence of potential to excel in teaching undergraduates is required.
Teaching duties will include organismal biology (introductory level) and upper-level courses in animal physiology and cellular or molecular biology. Teaching may also include the first-year seminar and non-majors biology courses as needed. Evidence of a strong commitment to pedagogies that foster diversity and inclusion is required.
Required Qualifications:
The Ph.D. is required by August 2024.
Preferred Qualifications:
Post-doctoral research experience is preferred.
