Shaanxi Normal University International Scholarship is a full scholarship or partial scholarship established by our university to enroll outstanding international students for postgraduate studies at SNNU.
01 Support categories
This scholarship only supports Masters students for a maximum of 3 years or PhD students for a maximum of 4 years .
02 Duration of scholarship
The Chinese government scholarship students who need a Chinese training year should be aware that it is necessary to pass the HSK or pass the exam of Chinese designated organized by Shaanxi Normal University after a formation ‘one year in Chinese. Those who do not pass the HSK or the designated exam can continue to study their major for one year, during this period if they still do not pass the exams, the students must return to their country as non-graduate students.
03 Language of instruction
All of the programs are Chinese-taught programs, and there are three English-language PhD programs: Education, Chemistry, Computer Software and Technology.

05 Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must:
– be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China and be in good health;
-Master’s candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and be under 40 years of age;
– Doctoral candidates must have a master’s degree and be under 45 years old.
06 Application procedure
Follow the online application process on Shaanxi Normal University’s online application system, https : //snnu.17gz.org/. Submit Shaanxi Normal University International Scholarship Application Form online and print hard copy;
Submit all your application documents by mail to the International Students Office by the April 15, 2021 deadline.
3. Perform a preliminary document review, interviews and full assessment;

Make sure you have submitted it online and printed the hard copy.
b. Highest diploma notarized (photocopy);
Prospective degree recipients must submit an official document issued by your current school to prove your current student status or expected graduation date.
Documents in languages other than Chinese or English should be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.
vs. university transcripts (written in Chinese or English);
Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with authenticated translations in Chinese or English.
d. Search results. Published theses, award certificates, etc. to prove their academic achievements and research capabilities;
EA study plan or research proposal (written in Chinese or English, a minimum of 800 words for master’s candidates and 1500 words for doctoral candidates );
f. two letters of recommendation (written in Chinese or English);
The candidates must submit two letters of recommendation signed by a professor or associate professor.
g. valid HSK certificate;
h. Photocopy of passport photo page ;
Notarized certificate of non-criminal activity (in English or Chinese);
j. Physical examination form for foreigners (photocopy);
Physical examinations must cover all of the items listed on the Aliens Physical Examination Form. Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, or official hospital stamp, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are considered invalid.Please plan your physical examination schedule carefully as the result is not valid only 6 months.
Please keep the original copy of the school registration form.
All documents should be bound together in the upper left corner in the order of (a) to (j) and sent to ISO by March 31, 2020.
