Eligibility Requirements (Criteria)
- This scholarship is offered subject to the international applicant having an unconditional offer of admission in one of the following in the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Sydney:
– Undergraduate degree, or
– Graduate entry masters degree. - be an international student.
- Ongoing eligibility:
– To continue receipt of the Scholarship, the recipient must maintain a minimum WAM of 65 each semester.
– Recipients undertaking an exchange during the tenure of this Scholarship are required to have achieved a Satisfied Requirements grade (SR) to receive their next payment. - There is no separate application required for this scholarship.
- The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of:
– academic merit, and
– the applicants application for admission to the relevant degree in the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Sydney. - The scholarship will be awarded by the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences.
Opportunity Cost
(Partially Funded)
- This scholarship is valued at $6000 per annum and is tenable for one year only.
- The scholarship annual value will be paid in two equal instalments after the census date of each semester.
- Deferral of the scholarship is not permitted without the prior permission of the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences and it is not transferable to another University School, Faculty or University.
- The Scholarship will be offered subject to the availability of funds.
- No other amount is payable.
