For its part, the government contact office in Qatar announced the suspension of the issuance of immediate entry permits for arrivals from several European countries from Sunday, as part of precautionary measures to limit the spread of Corona virus, and the decision includes citizens of Italy, France, Germany and Spain, as well as those who originate therefrom.

Citizens of these countries who hold a residence permit are excluded from this decision, provided that they are subject to the quarantine procedures in force in the State of Qatar for a period of 14 days.

The Government Communication Office said that it had been decided, under the same procedures, to temporarily suspend entry into the country for all travelers from Sudan from Sudan, whether for those who hold an entry permit or holders of a residence permit.
