Over 2,500 students have received an EU-funded scholarship to start one of the 145 Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters programs this fall!

About
An Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Degree is a prestigious, integrated international study program delivered jointly by an international consortium of higher education institutions.
The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Programs award EU-funded scholarships to the best student candidates applying through the annual selection cycles.
The study must take place in at least two of the program countries . Part of the studies can also take place in a partner country if an institution from the partner country is involved.
How to register
Students should contact the consortium offering the master’s course for more information on the courses and application procedures.
Terms & Conditions
Masters level students from all over the world can apply.
You must have obtained a first higher education diploma or demonstrate an equivalent level of learning recognized, in accordance with national law and practice, in the countries granting the diploma.
If you have previously received an EMJMD scholarship or an Erasmus Mundus Master / Joint Doctorate scholarship, you are not eligible for an additional EMJMD scholarship. You cannot benefit from any other EU funded scholarship program while you are receiving an EMJMD scholarship.
Academic result
Successful completion of the study program will lead to the award of either a joint degree (i.e. a single degree issued on behalf of at least two higher education institutions of the EMJMD consortium) or multiple degrees (i.e. at least two degrees awarded by two higher education institutions of the consortium).
To find out if an EMJMD will be recognized in a given country, contact the relevant competent authorities and provide them with the official name of the course.
Financial aid
To benefit from Erasmus + financial support, you must first be admitted to the course by the organizing consortium and then be selected for an EMJMD scholarship.
The EMJMD scholarship covers your participation costs (including tuition, library and laboratory fees, full insurance coverage and all other mandatory costs related to your participation in the Master); it represents a contribution to your travel and installation costs and includes a monthly subsistence allowance for the duration of the study program.
The total amount of the scholarship varies depending on the length of your course and your nationality (non-European students receive larger scholarships).
At least 75% of the scholarships are awarded to applicants from partner countries.
How to register
Students should consult the EMJMD online catalog and contact the consortium offering the master’s course for more information on the courses and application procedures.
A new batch of selected EMJMDs is added to the list each summer. Most consortia will require applications to be submitted between October and January, for courses starting the following academic year.
