Humanities scholarships at the College of Arts & Sciences at Cornell University, USA

The  social sciences and humanities scholarship program  invites applications from Cornell doctoral candidates for one-year postdoctoral fellowships starting August 1, 2020. The scholarship offers an allocation of $ 58,000. Two postdoctoral fellows will be appointed. The application deadline is February 16, 2020.

Postdoctoral fellows will be selected based on the promise of their research to cultivate interdisciplinary exchanges, to foster collaboration between academic disciplines and to build on existing disciplinary contributions to the humanities, widely conceived. We are looking for candidates wishing to develop their skills in undergraduate pedagogy, focusing in particular on the orientation and mentoring of undergraduate students through the process of development and research of humanist questions. We anticipate that postdoctoral fellows will teach one course per year. In addition, they will organize and support a regular calendar of events such as ongoing peer-to-peer workshops, workshops on oral presentation techniques,

Applicants eligible for postdoctoral fellowships in the humanities scholarship program for the academic year 2020-21 include researchers with a Cornell doctorate and Cornell doctoral candidates who complete (d) the doctorate between January 1, 2018 and July 31, 2020.
