The universities of the Coimbra group have offered young researchers from the European neighborhood since 1999 the possibility of spending a short stay in a university of the Coimbra group to carry out part of their research work.

Eligible countries:  Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Egypt, Georgia, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, Palestinian Authority, Republic of North Macedonia, Russia, Serbia, Syria, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE APPLYING

1 – Applicants must provide the name and contact details of an academic supervisor from the University of the Coimbra host group who will supervise their work during their stay abroad. If you do not have any contacts, we suggest that you visit the website of your chosen institution or contact the contact person whose email address is given in the brochure. The Coimbra group office is unable to provide assistance in this regard.

2 – All applicants are requested to provide a letter / email of acceptance (to be submitted with your application) written by the academic director of the host university where you wish to carry out the proposed work plan. The letter should indicate that the supervisor is willing to work with you in case you receive a grant from the Coimbra group.

3 – The medjouel.com team informs you that candidates can only select one institution. Multiple applications from the same candidate will be rejected.

4 – Please complete your application form only when you have all the data available (for example, name and letter of acceptance by the supervisor of the University of the Coimbra Group, etc.). Incomplete requests will be rejected, no exceptions will be made.

5 – The dates of your stay must be agreed between the candidate and the academic manager of the University of the Coimbra Group. This will generally be during the 2020/2021 academic year.
