The Fraunhofer Institute for Software and Systems Technology ISST supports its customers and partners with all questions regarding digitization. It develops innovative and application-oriented solutions for digital services and deals with the construction of complex IT structures and the implementation of suitable solutions for the secure and needs-based collection, processing and provision of information.

Your task

You support us as a researcher in applied research projects in the field of digitization and data-driven business models. These include in particular:

  • Method development for data-driven business models
  • Establishment of data process chains and implementation of data analyzes
  • Research into new approaches to data management and data governance
  • Publication of research results and giving lectures
  • Participation in, acquisition and management of research and innovation projects for the digitization of industry and in the data economy

What you bring with you

  • Scientific university degree (master, diploma) with a very good to good grade point average, preferably in the fields of business informatics, industrial engineering or computer science
  • High IT affinity and knowledge in the field of data management
  • First experience in project management
  • Pronounced analytical and communicative skills
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • The intention to do a doctorate is expressly desired, but not mandatory

Employment, remuneration and social benefits are based on the public service agreement (TVöD).
The position is initially limited to 2 years. There is the possibility of an extension.
The weekly worktime is 39 hours.
